Environmental economy: Germany keeps on growing even more sustainably

This is the second report about the situation, challenges and perspectives on the environmental economy in Germany. in Germany after 2009. The report proves that Germany has seen significant developments in the field of environmentally friendly growth in the course of the last ten years. The production of environmental goods has grown above-average and now reaches a production volume of almost 76 B Euros. With a share of 15.4 percent of the world trade, Germany leads the export of environmental goods. The number of employees in the sector of environmental economics shows a new record high of about 2 M.
