Vestas confirms conditional order for wind project in Ukraine
Aarhus, Denmark - Commenting on information in the market regarding Vestas having received an order in Ukraine, the Danish company confirms that the DTEK Group and Vestas have signed a conditional order for the Botievo project in Ukraine.As soon as the order becomes firm and unconditional, Vestas will immediately thereafter make a company announcement concerning this.
One of the last wind energy projects in Ukraine has been supported by Fuhrländer. The First ten wind turbines Fuhrländer FL-2500 with total capacity of 25 MW were commissioned at Ochakovskaya WPP in December 2011. The first phase of the wind farm was constructed in less than six months. Four more phases of Ochakovskaya WPP with total installed capacity of around 100 MW are planned to be commissioned in 2012.
