Conergy and TÜV Rheinland start partnership
Hamburg, Germany – The system supplier Conergy and TÜV Rheinland are entering a partnership with the aim of collaborating closely in the certification of large photovoltaic plants. The partnership is supposed to be based on high quality standards. The aim for the future is that all large Conergy power plants will be evaluated and certified neutrally to the TÜV`s standards. As to company information, Conergy’s quality criteria already take into account the phase of project planning and realization. Apart from security tests, precise yield measurements are executed.
This is supposed to facilitate the plant planning and thus to ensure the customer high yields and long-term security. "The testing carried out with our expertise and the certification of the large Conergy plants to our standards is a first in the industry," said Wilhelm Vaaßen, Head of the Solar Energy Assessment Centre at TÜV Rheinland. "The aim is to offer investors optimum security and transparency."
