ARCHEA Biogastechnologie GmbH Lands Another Major Contract

The 536 kW electric power plant in Wehye will generate approx. 4.2 million kWh of environmentally friendly electricity every year. This is equivalent to the consumption of over 1,000 3-person households for the 536 kW plant. The overall investment for the biogas plant amounts to 2.5 million Euros. The resulting heat from Biogas plants is to be made available to consumers in the immediate surroundings.

In addition to maize sileage, the plant can also be operated on grass sileage, liquid manure, animal solids, and such. The incidental fermentation residue is considered valuable fertilizer for both agricultural and private uses (gardens).
