Vestas receives order for 116 V52-850 kW turbines in China

Singapore - Vestas has received an order for delivery of 116 V52-850 kW wind turbines for Suniteyou Wind Farm III and IV, Xilinguole City, Inner Mongolia Province, China. The order was received from China Guangdong Nuclear Wind Power Co. Ltd.

The contracts include supply and commissioning of the turbines including towers, the VestasOnlineTM Business SCADA solution and a two-year service and maintenance agreement.

China Guangdong Nuclear Wind Power Co. Ltd. is rapidly developing into one of the key wind power developers in China and a key partner of Vestas China.

Delivery and commissioning of the turbines is planned for the third quarter of 2009.

Vestas was the first wind turbine company to enter the Chinese market when it installed the first turbines in Shandong and Hainan provinces in 1986. Vestas has installed wind turbines in thirteen provinces in China.
